Kaylee's Birthday-- SEVEN!

Our first born angel has made us proud parents yet again.  She is such a joy in our family- mature, helpful, so responsible and a teacher and example of choosing the right.  Kaylee has written out her birthday plans in strict detail... with lots of lists (uh oh, she got my lousy list gene!)

Her cake was written out step by step for me:
1. Chocolate Cake Mix
2. Oil
3. Eggs
4. Mix and cook for 30 minutes

Further detail was given too-- it has to have "whip cream frosting and strawberries in the middle" (cream cheese frosting) and then "on top of the top cake there is chocolate frosting and strawberries on top."  Well, we made it to order and she was so excited about it.  She picked out to have a Littlest Pet Shop party with her friends and loved playing games requiring trying out animal skills.  They even decorated a 'Pet Shop'  (a decked out cardboard box house made by Grandpa Carson).  The highlight of her friend party was when it was over and they were all just playing L.P.S. and 3 friends (each being an only child) were making different requests of how to play and Kaylee sat everyone down and diplomatically said: "Now, isn't this my birthday party? (Yes's from everyone) well then don't you think we should do what I want to do?  (Yeahhhhh)  Ok, if you want to play L.P.S. then you can do that but if you don't then you can play what you want... OK?"   I wanted to shout...  GO Kaylee GO!  I was proud that she could keep it together and find a way to make everyone happy- I guess she is growing up.
