Come See the Light

This Christmas season is becoming more and more meaningful for me as I'm trying to help our family focus on the Savior, rather than just their Santa wish lists.  We've got baby Jesus in a manger- in the front room, a countdown to Bethlahem and we've made our present list of what we're each giving the Savior.  The kids were really thoughtful about what they wanted to do.  Kaylee is being friends with others and has reported back a few times about looking for kids at school who need someone to play with and what she did about it.  Malorie said she's going to be reverent during the sacrament (which is a challenge for her), she's been practicing holding still and folding her arms.  Carson said he'd share with Lincoln and he is trying so hard to remember to do it.  Another thing I'm excited about this season is the new Reflections of Christ video- it helps create that spirit that you want to have this time of year.  It makes this CHRISTmas season feel sacred.  I am thankful for a time that is for forgetting myself and thinking of others- it seems like such priceless gifts are given if we allow ourselves to be lost in the true spirit of Christmas!  Merry Christmas!  http://www.anothertestamentofchrist.com/
