Summer is coming!

When I was growing up my dad built us the 'best of the best' lemonade stand. How could anyone turn down a paper cup of lemonade from a stand like this one? This was so much fun to do with my siblings- but it was fun just to sit in our enclosed, shady stand and play too. We'd also get our wagon and dad would equip it with a battery powered freezer (filled with popsicles, otter pops, or fudge bars) and a speakers that pumped loud, cute music and we'd walk around the neighborhood and sell them. I felt like a very cool cat for doing it and had so much fun- other than the little hills we'd try and pull that heavy wagon up. So now that we've got our own little ones I look forward to creating similar days. Ones they'll enjoy and as I look back at my memories- it'll be days they'll learn from as well. Thanks dad--for building so many, many things; and mom --for making sure the lemonade was eatable.

Such nice memories! I love the pic of the old house! When I think of the time we spent playing together when we were little I always think of THAT house. Good times.

What fun, I would of stopped to buy some if I saw that cute lemonade stand. That picture makes me excited for summer.
