Camping- good clean fun?

As a family we've had some fun memories this summer- camping was a big hit with the girls. They loved those funny 'pot gut' or 'gopher' things but they quickly became annoying. By the end of the trip Steve had taught Kaylee the perfect way to set up a rope- in a lasso- and put crackers, or anything really, inside the rope circle and as they'd come to eat she'd give it a quick pull and catch them! It was only for 1 second but they were definatly in the rope and the more power in the pull the further it would toss them up in the sky. Those little buggers would scurry off and be back as soon as the next trap was set up for them.

I think it's obvious someone missed the 'cheese' part of the picture. HAHA! We went up to the boardwalk and Carson was so excited about everything he would hardly stay put in the backpack.

The girls never heard the word no about getting dirty- so it made for lots of fun for them and great pictures of their filthy little bodies!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 were worn right out! (Me too.)

We were cleaned up usually only on Sundays between our little adventures. I had to show this little missionary man in the making!

It's so nice to have those little get-a-ways, even if it means bugs and unwanted critters! At least Steve had some fun with the girls catching 'em... BTW,the girls didn't look too dirty to me! Where's the pic of you? :D LOL I also loved the missionary pic -- what a little Stud! You do so good!!
